Volunteers Needed
The task of reaching all of San Diego County is greater than any one church can accomplish. The solution is for churches to partner together. That is why we need you, thousands of you, to come serve.
When you come to San Diego, you can help with Upward Sports camps, Vacation Bible School, construction projects, community service projects, tutoring at a summer educational program, or serving the family of a deployed military personnel. There are limitless opportunities for partnership.
This year, we launched a new initiative, Faith in Action Xtreme, that provides an even greater number of opportunities for you to serve. Churches in San Diego will come alongside some of the greatest needs facing the county, hoping to make a difference in Jesus’ name.
As we have developed relationships with our city leaders we have discovered five of the greatest needs facing the county: foster care, mentoring, tutoring, military and elder care. Click here for more information about each area of impact, and most importantly, to find out how you can be involved.
The needs truly are great, but the best part is that we serve a God that is not bound by any obstacle or sizeable task. "For nothing is impossible with God," so we're asking God to do the impossible and we're asking you to come be a part of something that is bigger than any person, church, school, or social service agency. Come be a part of transforming San Diego County in Jesus' name!
